The youth of IBC has made it safely to camp! We're getting to know our brothers and sisters in Christ from New Salem Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy TN. Lots planed and God will be worshipped and praised!

Sitting at the Lord’s Table -Keep His command, Do this in remembrance of Jesus. -Shared experience encouraging one another in Jesus. -Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in The Father, believe,also, in me.” -Beyond Jesus’ death, He assures victory over death. -Instead of defeat, Jesus brought victory over death! -On the other side of death there a third day of triumph. -We, His Children, need a reassuring touch or word from Jesus. Gratitude for the truth of his promises. “Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.” Matthew 26:26-29

There are no adult services tonight. A team is headed to The Valley Church in Cincinnati to help with an outreach there. However, the youth and children will still meet. Dinner is at 6 and service at 6:30. Be prepared to get wet!!

JESUS PROMISES TO COME AGAIN Sermon by: Pastor Charles Darland July 7, 2019 Notes: EGT These Words are among the most precious that Jesus ever spoke. Jesus promises to return for those who trust Him and love Him. He comes the first time at a moment of salvation— the moment of conversion. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20 He comes to us in times of fellowship and worship. “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20 -The two Jesus joined as they walked the road to Emmaus. He comes as we walk the pathway of obedience. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 He will return again in VICTORY! “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:1-7

For the youth going to camp. Chris will have packing list and camp release forms on Sunday. Please make sure a form is completed or your student won't be able to do any of the fun stuff we have planned!

Just a reminder, there is no youth group or children's services tonight. We'll see you next week. Youth be prepared to get wet next week!

2019 CentriKid is DONE!!! W had an amazing time learning about how we have All Access to a God who loves us! Huge thanks to the adults who went, to the parents who let their kids go and to the staff at CentriKid!

Yesterday we had such a great time at OMC! (That's Organized Mass Chaos) Shaving cream, water balloons, pool noodles, and toliet paper were flying all over the place. And everything was tied back to how we need Jesus. Now time for closing ceremony and then it's time to hit the road. Please pray for safe travels of all those who attended CenterKid.

Mid day update from CentriKid. Everyone has had a great morning with Bible study and Rec. One of the camp staff sat with us during lunch and talked with the kids. The staff at camp really want to make sure the kids have a full understanding of what Christ did for us and how we have All Access to God. We'll have more pictures later. Right now we're getting ready for our tracks and OMC!!!

Day one of CentriKid camp is done. Here are a few photos from yesterday. Today we will be learning more about our God who gives us All Access to Him and we'll be introduced to OMC! What's OMC? Check back in with us later and you can see what kind of mess our kids are getting into.

VBS IS DONE!!!! Oh by the way. Boys brought in more food.

It's our final night of VBS!!! The kids have been bringing in food for the food pantry, here at the church, that serves our community. Our student minister said if the girls brought more food in he would dye his hair pink, but if the boys brought more in, he would dye it blue. So what color hair do you think our student minister is going to have? Pink, blue, or both!!

Two hours until we let out a huge ROAR!! There is still time to sign up for this year's VBS. We'll have registration open at 5:30 and our journey through the African Savanna starts at 6:00!

Jesus is speaking to those who are professing believers. -The secret to life is letting Christ into ALL of your life. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Jesus stands at the door wanting to answer your questions and perplexities. -Follow Him for answers to all things! OPEN THE DOOR AND LET JESUS IN! Do not be troubled. You trust God, trust also in me! Revelation 3:14-22 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s new creation: “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. VBS is going by really fast! We are so thankful that our children are having fun learning about Jesus!
